Good afternoon.  This is Joel West, Senior Planner with Yaggy Colby Associates.  I have just uploaded a PDF version of the MN Design Team Presentation into the “File Library”.  As you may recall or perhaps you were a participant in the MN Design team visit from April 24 – 27, 2008.  As a consultant preparing the city’s comprhensive plan update, I feel very fortunate to have been able to participate in this process and to be able to utilize the insight and recommendations from the team as part of the planning process.  I want to express my appreciation to the community and the team for all their work before, during and after the visit.

Good Morning, Joel West, Senior Planner with Yaggy Colby Associates. Hello, this is Mark Engel, Landscape Architect with Yaggy Colby Associates. I have just posted the powerpont presentation that Joel West, Senior Planner and I presented to the Rushford Planning Commission Tuesday evening April 15th, 2008.  The presentation outlines National Parks and Recreation standards for park space and how the City of Rushford compares to these standards.  A discussion on Strategic Goals to assist downtown redevelopment led into a review of Financial Incentives including Tax Increment and Tax Abatement options for the City of  Rushford.

Notice of invitation to all interested parties to attend a public meeting that will feature the presentation of the Housing Study Update by the authors of the study. This meeting is scheduled for Thursday March 27, 5:30 – 7:00 in the lower level meeting room at Stumpy’s Restaurant. A light meal of soup and sandwich will be offered.
